LAB: Nationalism

Lab: nationalism is a lab with several meeting points. In the lab, we explore nationalism, racism and fascism from different perspectives and in different global contexts, as well as different methods for how they can be counteracted.

Through a series of events with film, art and talks, the concepts are explored. How they are created, maintained, strengthened and spread. Lectures, which can be both theoretical and experience-based, clarify aspects of the concepts globally and inspire different approaches.

Film and art highlight its consequences and show how the creative can be used to strengthen resistance. We get inspired by artists and filmmakers from different global contexts.

The events always offers the opportunity for in-depth discussions.

In workshops, we go deeper to explore creative methods and tools. How can we use text and images in public spaces and contexts? How do we relate with our bodies during protests?

Lab: Nationalism is organized by the film collective RåFILM in collaboration with, among others, ABF Malmö and ARF (Anti-Racist Film Days).
